Tikal Mayan Ruins

Tikal in its heyday ca 700 AD, was the capital of a vast Mayan empire. Its unspoiled jungle setting makes it special for discerning travelers, particularly Archaeologists, Naturalists and bird watchers.
; This all day tour begins with a 15 minute drive from San Ignacio to the Belize/Guatemalan border where you will receive personal assistance through the Border and on too your waiting air-conditioned van.  You must bring your passport.  The Tour continues with a drive through Guatemala until you reach Tikal.  An English speaking guide who accompanies you all the way, will lead you through the 5 major temples. Walking tour lasts 4-5 hours.

Tour includes transportation, guide, entrance fees and lunch.  Includes Departure Tax.  Private and custom tours can be arranged and special occasions that may include marriage proposals and family celebrations.
